I'm leaving Madurai for Trichy tomorrow and not sure if I'll make it due to the headwinds...unless as a christmas present they change direction for me!Failing contact over the festive season I would like to make the most of my rare internet access and wish you all a very happy christmas from Tamil Nadu!Being a Hindu state I guess it will be a local Thali (veg and rice) christmas dinner for me and grape lassi will be the closest thing to mulled wine for me this year! With 140km ahead of me tomorrow this may be the first Christmas where I actually lose weight on Christmas day!

Happy Christmas from me and the girls!

I did also spot Santa and his elf today so looks like he will be on schedule to reach Ireland by the 24th!

This is India

After being in India for 5 weeks now, all I can say is that it is an assault on the senses but I can't help loving it. I won't bore you with any tales from the road just yet and let the pictures do the talking for the time being. The truth is that the past few weeks has been a rollercoaster ride and I think it's best that I digest the Indian experience first and then fill you in.Saree choosing!
